NJEA PAC and the NEA PAC support candidates for public office who reflect our members’ values. The NJEA Political Action Committee (PAC) prides itself on having a clear, fair and democratic process leading up to the endorsement of a candidate.

In state elections, an endorsement is official when the 125-member NJEA PAC Operating Committee votes to accept the recommendation of a local screening committee made up of members who represent each district.

For federal elections, there is a secondary step where the NEA PAC votes to accept the recommendation of NJEA PAC. At every step of the process, members like you are the decisionmaker.
